The internet is a an interconnected system of computers all around the world. We maintain fiber optic connections from a Network Operations Center (NOC) to our towers which feature high-tech transmitters which beam the signal to a specialized receiver at your home or business and you can get email and watch movies.
Most of our access points are existing structures like water towers, silos and grain elevators because it’s cheaper and faster to climb them and we’d all prefer less metal towers obstructing our beautiful scenic views.
While we enable you to access data from around the world, we’re right here, in Carroll County, MD. We’re providing jobs and contributing to the local economy. Freedom means buying local.
We’re dedicated and devoted to the Carroll County community. See below for some of the great people we’re proud to partner with.
We don’t dig trenches, hang wire or build towers. We do our best to use existing structures such as water towers and silos to mount our equipment to. That way we’re not adding any unnatural obstructions to our beautiful landscapes.
